KomezArt is an online art platform that brings together the best Rwandan artists to sell their original artworks and make them accessible to art lovers around the world. The platform aims to strengthen Rwanda's growing artistic ecosystem and promote the presence of Rwandan art on a global scale. Based in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, it takes its name from the Kinyarwanda word "Komeza", which means "continue" or "strengthen".

KomezArt was created in 2020 in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of many traditional art galleries and interrupted art sales for many Rwandan artists. The platform is an initiative of Kurema Kureba Kwiga, the leading public artistic organization and commercial art service provider in Rwanda. KomezArt aims to create sustainable opportunities for artists by enabling them to sell their work in Rwanda and abroad. Its vision is to overcome the obstacles that artists face when seeking potential art buyers, while increasing the demand and consumption of African artworks on the continent and worldwide.
