Asantii is a global fashion brand founded by Maryse Mbonyumutwa, who has over two decades of experience in the fashion industry in Africa. It was born out of the desire to create an ethical brand of timeless essentials with a specific purpose: to lead a revolution in the fashion industry by supporting African designers, artists, and artisans, while also uplifting the workers behind the brand and their families through the Pink Ubuntu social investment program.

The first step was to establish a manufacturing infrastructure. Today, Pink Mango and its partner C&D Products employ over 4,000 people in Rwanda, mostly women.

The second step fo Asantii was to bring together a team of talented designers across Africa, supported by a team of international experts in luxury brands and supply. Together, they created Asantii, a beautiful fashion brand representing Africa in the world, driven by the spirit of Ubuntu.
